NEW BRIGHTON ARTISTS AT THE ARTS CENTRE

Warmest greetings to the New Brighton ~Marine Community. Julie of Waimairi Beach and Britta of South Brighton, present an exhibition

Kaitiaki o te Moana ~ Ocean Guardians ,

 a mix of stone carvings/sculpture and paintings with a marine conservation theme,

 at the Cloisters Gallery, The Arts Centre from 17-23 August 2010.

The exhibition is also inspired  by our experience living in New Brighton/beside the Pacific.

Come along, check us out and say 'hi' ~ we will be staffing the gallery for the week. It would be wonderful to see some NB people as well as promote New Brighton as a creative and special place for the residents of wider Christchurch to visit.

We hope to establish a similar themed exhibition at a New Brighton location in the near future.
